Monday's Feed - Game Of Thrones: List Of Major Deaths On Battle Of The Bastards

Last tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones, titled “Battle of the Bastards,” featured the longawaited showown between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton over control of Winterfell and the North. While Jon emerged victorious and the Stark direwolf once more hangs from the walls of Winterfell, no battle is without casualties on both sides. Here’s a rundown of the most significant deaths in deadly battle:

Rickon Stark: As a trueborn son of Ned Stark, Rickon represented a greater threat to Ramsay’s claim to Winterfell than either Sansa or Jon, a fact Sansa pointed out to her half-brother prior to the battle. Ramsay eliminated the threat, and baited Jon into a foolish charge, but killing Rickon with an arrow as the battle began.

Wun Wun: One of the last living giants in the world of Westeros, Wun Wun was among the first Free Folk to pledge themselves for Jon in the battle for Winterfell. Wun Wun valiantly knocked down the gates of Winterfell to give Jon and his forces entry, but Ramsay put an arrow in the giant’s eye, killing him.

Ramsay Bolton: Ramsay was defeated in battle and got a good pummeling when Jon caught up with him in Winterfell. Sansa decided to go for poetic justice and fed Ramsay to his own beloved, vicious, starving dogs in the kennels, ending his sadistic games once and for all.

Smalljon Umber: Smalljon was the Northern lord who turned Rickon over to Ramsay. While we didn’t get a 100 per cent confirmed kill for Lord Umber, Tormund Giantsbane did take a bite out of his neck. We think that’s a fatal wound.
