Today is actress Emma Watson’s birthday.
Better known to the world as Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, Watson played Harry Potter’s brainy friend in all eight films from Warner Bros. The series transformed her into a global celebrity, as she’s currently launching an acting career outside the walls of Hogwarts.

Since Harry Potter, Watson starred in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, Noah, and her upcoming film The Circle. She will also play the highly coveted role of Belle in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast in 2017.

Born in Paris, France, Watson turns 26 years old today. Happy Birthday, Emma Watson.
