Tuesday Discussion - Avengers: Millennium

Marvel Comics has announced Avengers: Millennium, their latest Infinite Comics digital series. Written by Matt Costa (Scarlett Spiders) and illustrated by Carmine Di Giandomenico (All-New X-Factor) and Geoffo & Mast (Iron Man: Fatal Frontier), the digitally-exclusive story will hit devices later this February.

In the time-traveling series, the Avengers discover that the Marvel Universe terrorist group, Hydra, have begun strange time-traveling experiments in Japan.  As the Avengers rush to stop Hydra, they are thrust into the time-stream and become displaced across several different centuries and eras. In order to save the present, they must fight their way through the past and unravel Hydra’s plans as they unfold across time.

As part of Marvel’s Infinite Comics program, Avengers: Millennium will utilize the digital medium to tell its story in new and inventive ways. Based off the art, it looks like the series will take place outside of current Marvel continuity, with an Avengers lineup consisting of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's team, plus Spider-Man. The six-issue mini series will be available to download starting February 24th.

Will you read it?  What are your thoughts?  Do you like it's digital or not?
